We took our new camper home!
November 29, 2008 7:28 amYehhh! We picked up our new HiLo trailer yesterday. Fun times! Its a 17′ HI-LO.. towed with my Jeep Liberty and an equilizer hitch with some break controller who’s name fails me now.. I’m happy I did all the online research I did.. The equilizer hitch was a necessity and worked wonders for leveling out the whole setup. (While the manual did require weight distribution for this tongue weight, equilizer was the universally recommended brand online.) We’ll have to do some more tweaking next time, but I was extremely pleased with performance.. Its not a V8, but it did well. It will be fun to take camping in several weeks.. Hmmm. I distinctly remember a conversation about 10 years ago where I brought up the idea of going out camping and you said, “You mean Outside?”…
I thought I was going to die laughing. It’s good to see you in the outdoors.
